Recorded in Brazil with the participation of local talented musicians, the cd is clearly influenced by Brazilian Jazz though stilistically variegated.
It includes beautiful standards of the bossa nova repertoire such as Manha De Carnaval but also some original compositions of the singer
whose musicality and poetry flows through the sound of the languages she's been exploring for quite a long time. From her native Italian
(Nuova Luce all'Orizzonte) through her 'adoptive' Portuguese (Quem, Pra Voce) occasionally writing and singing in English (Brother Breath).
You will find also a rare gem, a Brazilian version of Michel Petrucciani's Looking Up with Portuguese lyrics wrote by Lisa.
