REMA Early Music Day 2021
The future is unwritten

The impact of pandemic on live music is the main theme behind the visual of the Early Music Day 2021.
It could not be otherwise. After the first lockdown, in fact, the return to live performances and to everyday activities
was a breath of fresh air. At that time we were starting to think about the 9th edition of Early Music Day,
and I wanted to highlight that feeling of hope and relief. The logotype has been partially transformed,
twisted and blew up as it was crossed by sound waves, finally.

Inspiration for the visual layout comes from one of my last travels before pandemic.
I was in The Hague visiting Mauritshuis Museum and I was completely astonished not just from the beauty
of paintings but also from some amazing frame, which appear to be extremely modern and graphics.
In this time of epocal changes future is an empty canvas. We have the duty but also the responsability to fill it with conscious contents. Isn't it, somehow, the spirit of Early Music Day? To think about the role of live music in our lives,
to spread amazing concerts, to enjoy the beauty of music performances.

REMA Early Music Day continues to be a democratic event. Every poster is downloadable and customizable
both in English and French.
