CHRISTMAS CAROL

Pavia, 5/18 December

Season's greetings! Centro di Musica Antica / Fondazione Ghislieri celebrates with a Xmas Festival!

Graphics/concept Would it be possible to visualize music through the air?
Apparently yes, according to the pictures by Kathrin Showboda!

The image of the Festival plays around notes moving freerly through the air and lithograph of a red robin.
Robin has been associated with Christmas since the mid-19th century.
In Victorian Britain, in fact, postmen delivering postcards and Christmas gifts wore scarlet uniforms.
They were nicknamed robins. For this reason the robins were depicted on postcards
and Christmas greeting cards - often with an envelope or sitting on a letterbox.

Is there a better way to summarize music and the warm of holiday season?
